Über die Band

Pop group (1983) founded for the Eurovision Song Contest. The Austrian entry „Hurricane“ was their first and their last cooperation. The performance of this catchy synth-pop song with a touch of schlager is thougt to be the first appearance of a boy band at the Grand Prix TV show. That's not quite correct, even if the vocals were only sung by the male members of Westend, but on stage they were supported by a female group member - dancer Patricia Tandien.
